Celebrating 40 Years of “Minding Other People’s Business” *

This May 15 marks a major milestone for us: The 40^th Anniversary of PI Midlantic. That’s four decades of hard work, growth, relationships, and purpose. As we celebrate this incredible anniversary, we’re filled with deep gratitude—for our remarkable team, our loyal clients and friends, and our long-standing partnership with The Predictive Index.

From a Third Bedroom in Bowie

Every great journey starts somewhere. Ours began in the humblest of places: a third bedroom in our home in Bowie, Maryland. No fancy office space, no staff—a Commodore 64, a dot matrix printer, vision, grit, and a belief that people are the true engine of business success. That belief hasn’t changed.

What has changed is everything else.

Today, we’re proud to say we’ve grown into the largest Predictive Index (PI) provider in the world and done it as a family business, in all meanings of the word.  We’ve served thousands of organizations and impacted countless teams with tools and insights that empower better hiring, stronger leadership, and high-performing cultures. And we did it by staying true to what we’ve always known: Talent is Everything.

Celebrating the People Behind the Success

You don’t stay in business for 40 years without an extraordinary team. The PI Midlantic Team has been and is the heartbeat of this company. You’ve carried the mission, upheld our values, and poured your talents into everything we do. Your commitment has shaped the culture that we’re so proud of today, and you demonstrate our Core Values daily.

And to our clients, many of whom have been with us for decades, thank you. You’ve trusted us with your business, your people, and your goals. In return, we’ve gained not just clients but friends and partners, and we treasure those relationships more than you know.  I’ve always felt I could go to any major city in the country and call someone for dinner.

A Rare Milestone

In today’s fast-moving world, few businesses get to celebrate 40 years. It’s a rare achievement—one that speaks to the resilience of our purpose and the strength of the community that’s grown around us. We’ve weathered change, embraced innovation, and evolved alongside our partners and clients. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to making work better by understanding what drives people.

Grateful for the Journey, Excited for the Future

A random letter to Arnold Daniels grew into a 40-year mission.  For me and my family, it’s been the ride of a lifetime.  One I wouldn’t change for anything.

To our partners at The Predictive Index—thank you for your continued collaboration, innovation, and support. Together, we’ve helped shape the conversation around talent and performance worldwide, and we’re just getting started.

As we look to the future, we do so with energy, optimism, and purpose. The next chapter will be driven by the same principles that brought us this far: curiosity, courage, and connection.
