PI Midlantic Clients Take Home 4 Out of 11 Awards at OPTIMA 2019

Congratulations to our outstanding clients who took home awards at this year’s Talent Optimization conference in Boston – OPTIMA!

At OPTIMA’s inaugural summit focusing on all aspects of Talent Optimization (diagnosing organizational gaps/blind spots, designing people- and business-strategies, hiring and talent acquisition, and inspiring your employees, just to name a few topics) organizations from around the world were recognized for their use of PI to drive bottom line impacts. In all over 250 stories and journeys were submitted outlining the overarching pursuit of aligning their company’s talent strategy with their business strategy. Of those submissions, 11 organizations were dubbed winners of the Talent Optimization Leadership Awards based on their efforts and successes in transforming their people and teams, and quite frankly the businesses themselves. These winners use PI to intentionally design winning teams and culture, hire more purposefully, and inspire their people to peak engagement and productivity.

We are proud to announce that over a 1/3rd of those 11 recipients were clients of PI Midlantic and we’re happy to share their stories here!

The 4 PI Midlantic clients to be recognized as Talent Optimization Leadership Award winners were AstraZeneca, Tricon American Homes, Brightview Senior Living, and FirstBank. Daniel Muzquiz, President of the Predictive Index, LLC, congratulated 2019’s Award winners saying that, “Collectively, our award recipients leveraged talent optimization to achieve an average retention rate of 88%, develop sound talent strategies to increase revenue, foster better internal communication, compete in the war for talent by scaling internal promotions, and markedly improve customer experience scores.”

CEO of Brightview Senior Living, Marilynn Duker, not only accepted the Talent Optimization Leadership Award on behalf of her organization, immediately after being recognized as Loyola University’s Business Leader of the Year, but also participated in a panel discussion on bridging the gap between talent strategy and business strategy. She went on to explain in the discussion how Brightview’s challenge was to attract, hire, and retain thousands of customer-facing workers including caregivers, drivers, cooks, and cleaners in a competitive senior-living care industry. Using talent optimization tools like the Predictive Index allowed her and her team to be successful in scaling up their operation to include over 40 locations in 8 states.

Accepting the Award for AstraZeneca was Sally Hoffman who works as a Strategic Scaling Lead. Sally explained the importance of the data that is collected and that, “Everyone has regular touchpoints with their managers and teams leveraging the people data insights we get from PI. This has been a huge growth opportunity for us.”

More than 800 business leaders, HR strategists, and industry experts were on hand to witness the award ceremony and a brief peak into the stories shared. The attendees were also treated to a performance by Walk the Moon and keynotes from world-renowned speaker Mel Robbins, and baseball analytics guru Billy Beane.

Take advantage of early registration for OPTIMA 2020. We’ll see you there!
