A Cautionary Tale: Amazon’s Experiment with AI in Hiring
Although artificial intelligence is at the forefront of many industries, such as online ordering. The limits to which AI can effectively and proficiently change our lives is being pushed. However, a recent Amazon experience has revealed its limitations within the hiring process. The company discontinued the project due to skewed results, favoring the male applicants. Clearly making this hiring process imbalanced and bias.
