Alan joined the PI Midlantic team in August of 2020. He brings 30+ years of financial and operational experience, with 27 years of that being with IKEA. He spent the last three years working in The Netherlands and Sweden, co-leading a global competence & leadership development program. He has been facilitating leadership and team development programs since 2012. Alan believes in growing people and business together by empowering the team and focusing on the needs of both the employees and the customers. He worked co-functionally to provide insight into how understanding your team and raising self-awareness increases the bottom-line. He is equally comfortable dealing with C-suite executives or entry level co-workers.
Alan is a Certified Professional Coach, certified by the Institute for Professional Coaching (iPEC) and a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Pennsylvania. He holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science (Jefferson), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Temple University. Alan has been an adjunct professor for 20+ years. He is a peer mentor for both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and a Global Alumni Mentor at Temple University.
Alan lives outside Philadelphia, PA with his wife. They spend their free time in Ocean City, NJ. They love to share culture and family traditions with others from all over the world. Alan loves to cook (bake, steam, fry, boil, grill, or smoke) and enjoys bringing people together through food. A glass of wine and a sunset are a great way to end the day.
